Meet Lin Scott  

The first house I ever sold cost $19,000.  My, how things have changed.  The one thing that remains the same is the excitement I feel when I help a client find the right home at the right price.  I love what I do.  If you are searching for that right property give me a call; I can help.

I originally planned a career in economics but did not like the culture or the structured work environment. A college professor recommended the more flexible field of real estate and it was the perfect career choice.  That was more than 25 years ago. I have had many experiences during my long career, learned from then and will put that knowledge to work for you today.  My business travels for a major real estate firm introduced me to the Mendocino area.  It was love at first sight.  I initially fell in love with the beauty and activities of the village.  I rented vacation homes frequently for many years and longed to be a full time resident. I met and became involved with, the diverse people who call this area home.   I learned to treasure their vibrant life style as well as the beauty of the redwoods and ocean bluffs. I have two granddaughters that came to live with me 5 years ago. At that time, I relocated to Mendocino as a full time resident.  The move fulfilled my dreams and the children have the advantage of growing up along the coast of Mendocino. They have prospered, think of them selves as locals and will tell every and anyone how happy they are to live here.   I am happily involved in my role as mother for the second time and a strong supporter of the school system.        I like to spend time with happy people who have a positive outlook and can laugh at themselves.
